We need trees in our towns and cities - they help with temperature control and are habitats for birds and insects

We do not need a cycle lane and the whole area is like a patchwork Quilt with road and paths being dug up constantly

Council Tax Money should be used by council - for benefit of all taxpayers.
Who DECIDED TO HAVE A CYLE LANE ???
How many taxpayers will benefit???
Most importantly was market research carried out to identify how many cyclists use that road ??? To many glass towers in Newcastle Civic Centre using residents hard earner money for their own projects.
I think it is Criminal that the Council Spokesperson or persons have lied and said it’s not true - they should loose their jobs.

Trees are so important to our environment and well being. A cycle lane which will be used by a handful of people versus well established trees. Cycle lanes are have become the bain of this city and its outlying areas and cater to the minority only.

The cycle lane is really not required, I live in this area and hardly see any bikes on the road....its just wasting public money and making the area ugly by removing our trees from the village

This will spoil the look of the village we already have so much traffic disruption adding a cycle lane will make things so much worse… And for the record I am a cyclist and live in the village.
