Underground lines make better long term sense. Please revisit this option.

I am highly opposed to putting more power lines above ground. The combination of fire risk, health concerns and negative impact to property values are all reasons to put these lines underground. The recent experience with fires in Northern California should be enough to be convincing that it is not worth the risk to life and limb and the community.

We are completely against of any structure that put our families at risks, fires, health related issues, etc and also deteriorating our beautiful Rancho Dorado neighborhood views.

As a homeowner whose property is adjacent to the proposed new lines, I am concerned about fire risk and property values. Better alternatives exist and should be pursued.

Please put the lines underground for safety and appearance.

Fire danger and negative effect on home values are reason enough to force these underground.

No above ground ugly and dangerous

The better route is underground which would be more reliable in the first place.

We already have lines and the addition will drastically hinder housing costs, increase fire probability, and destroy the views we paid for. Underground needs to be the only way this happens.

Please explore underground options. Cocos fire evacuation was terrible, and we have more cars, houses, and people now.

We will mount a massive opposition and this will be stopped on account of the fire risk running power lines through the unincorporated County where brush and grasses are predominant. Considering the track record of SDGE in terms of starting fires, this is unconscionable. Go underground or consider alternatives.

Responsible Cell has worked with San Elijo Hill residents for the betterment and safety of our community. We opposed the San Elijo Cell Tower Complex that the San Marcos City Council approved in the middle of our community. We also oppose the SDG&E proposed transmission line project. Please let us know how we can help get SDG&E to put these lines underground.

Pay a bit more now to do it properly so you/we don't have to pay much higher to fix it (and the damage fires from it may cause) down the road. Play the long game!
