Do we allow families in Inishowen to be neglected/abandoned and ignored again? LIFELINE (Inishowen) Domestic Violence Service provides a community response which offers support to women and children, in Inishowen, who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse; physical, emotional, threatening, bullying, sexual and financial abuse. LIIFELINE (Inishowen) can provide women with support, information, advocacy, court accompaniment and counseling at a time when they feel abandoned and lost in their lives. We continue to support the women through their journey of change by providing a confidential and empowering approach. The services are 'women centered' and provided by trained professional Volunteers. Clients have emphasised the importance of a local based response to allow their transition/journey to be less complicated.
