A trolley would cause Marco Island to look like it is a more touristy place than already it is. A trolley is just an invitation for more public to use the island.

We do not need anymore congestion on our roads, and a trolley stopping on the main roads only to tie up traffic NO TROLLY AND NO RESTAURANT EITHER

Thought this proposal was dropped from further consideration and don’t understand why is being discussed again.

Marco is a small island. It does not need trolleys blocking the already small busy narrow roads. Marco has overgrown it's infrastructure .

Everyone on this town board needs to go. We need to vote them all out.

Will not be used by residents. Stop reducing number of parking spaces for new restaurants! Encourage businesses to support taxi type system to reduce traffic.

Stop this now. It will make traffic worse.

We already addressed this issue a few years ago and it was struck down. Why aren’t the residents of Marco Island being heard? Do our voices ever matter?

It was a bad idea the first time it was presented and it still is a bad idea.

Residents should not be paying for a service for tourists. There are already too many people on the the island in season. This would also make the short term rental problem worse.

"We are trying to be fair, fiscal conservative, to spend money wisely," said City Council Candidate Tamara Goehler. Goehler tells NBC2 News that not all residents on the Island are for the public transportation project, citing a survey she conducted as part of her campaign. "We decided to do a survey, we did online survey, and we had almost 2,500 plus participants and we had 75% of the residents rejected this proposal," added Goehler.
