I am a concerned citizen of Marco Island and I do not want a Trolley Service on the Island! This is the second time it has been proposed and it is just as bad as an idea now as it was the first time!

The momentum behind this effort is undeniable and shows that our neighbors agree this trolley plan is a mistake. Now we need to turn this energy into action by emailing your city council representative immediately to demand they drop the proposal.

Already there are 2 black Naples Transportation buses speeding up and down W Elkcam Cir all day picking up people at the Presbyterian Church and taking them down Collier. They cycle about every 12 minutes. This is a residential street and usually very quiet this time of year. It is very disruptive and not safe.
We are not keeping up with the litter of trash and recycling on the island as it is. I pick up so much trash/recyling on my daily walks along the beach and inland, therefore I do not support anything that will potentially increase the amount of litter on the island
The last thing I want here on the island is more tourism coming in. I already refer to it as Lower Manhattan with 2 bridges. We are losing the island feel we moved here for by the day through promoting overdevelopment and tourism. Residents want their quality of life back.
Bad idea. Tourists will park at little publix and big publix and during season to catch the trolley and residents will never be able to get to anything. This does nothing for residents.
The proposed trolley will not access dead end streets which are the bulk of our community. As a result residents will be forced to walk long distances to access which won’t happen.
Failed the first time & opposed in 2021. Won't bring any revenue to the island just a huge expense and traffic jam
Tourists should not get a ride at my expense. My tax dollars could be much better spent elsewhere

Stop the trolley!! There are enough tourists on island without us bussing more in. I don’t think my tax dollars should be paying for their vacations. This idea is as lame as astro turf at Mackle Park. Invest this money on aging infrastructure .
