Failed the first time & opposed in 2021. Won't bring any revenue to the island just a huge expense and traffic jam

I am going to write this email to the city council. I am also not voting for the incumbents in this election. Thanks see below.
I am writing to express my strong opposition to the proposed trolley project and the use of taxpayer funds for its implementation. As a resident of this community, I am deeply concerned about the negative impacts this project will have on our island.
Firstly, the introduction of a trolley system will inevitably lead to increased traffic congestion. Our roads are already struggling to accommodate the current volume of vehicles, and adding a trolley will only exacerbate this issue. This is particularly concerning during the peak tourist season when our infrastructure is already stretched to its limits.
Secondly, the trolley project is likely to attract even more tourists to our island. While tourism is an important part of our economy, there is a delicate balance that must be maintained to ensure the quality of life for residents is not compromised. The influx of additional visitors will strain our resources, create overcrowding, and diminish the unique charm of our community.
It is also important to highlight that many residents, myself included, feel that our voices are not being heard. The city council appears to be prioritizing the interests of tourists and external stakeholders over the needs and desires of its own community. We urge you to reconsider this project and to engage in a more meaningful dialogue with residents to find solutions that truly benefit everyone.

Totally a bad idea and against the wishes of so many "year round" residents. Almost as bad as the horse and carriage idea a couple of years ago!! With Uber, rental Electric Bikes & Golf Carts all around... We don't need this trolley, and especially not at our expense $

Water quality is a much better idea. There is already too much traffic during the season.
