The businesses will like it. The residents will not. It crowded enough already.

Money for this would be better spent on mitigating flood-prone areas of Island.

Should include the amount of money from the Marco Island budget to subsidize this!

I am sure they could find a much more constructive use of $299K

The residents DO NOT want this. We are losing all faith in the local governing bodies. Shame on all of you.

The residents have spoken. Why do the powers that be continue to ignore us?

We don't need more overcrowding on our island.

We need to work to preserve the residential feel of Marco Island, not take steps to add to the already challenging congestion and overcrowding.

Keep Marco island residential, not commercial.

Sets a terrible example in favor of commercial and tourist interests at the expense of residents.

Collier is starting to look like the Vegas Strip. Tourists aren’t EVERYTHING important on this island. Residents count, too. Quit spending our tax dollars on these horrible ideas!! B

Elected officials should represent the people, right or wrong. They should do the homework, package the proposal, and then let residents vote on it.

Stop the trolley!! There are enough tourists on island without us bussing more in. I don’t think my tax dollars should be paying for their vacations. This idea is as lame as astro turf at Mackle Park. Invest this money on aging infrastructure .
