This area of natural beauty must not be destroyed for the sake of corporate greed as it supports an abundance of wildlife and is the last bit of greenfield in bryn .there is also the potential problem of flooding and pollution of local waterways and increased traffic pollution which is already well above the legal limit

Another Green Field site being developed. Isn't there enough brown field sites around??? the impact for travel, pollution and infrastructure in Ashton will be horrendous

This is typical of the arrogant and high handed attitude of Wigan Council, they forget that we the electorate elect them to serve our best interests not their own. They also forget that we can just as easily discard them come the next election for failing in their duty to us.

Bryn has very little green left and these houses would take away a lovely view. It will impact on everyone in many ways who travels along the road and who lives here and loves the view.

Traffic problems will be worse. Driving into Ashton at the library lights makes an awful impression of Ashton with shabby, closed and shuttered shps at the junction. Spend money on developing on Ashton instead of destroying the natural beauty we have.

Bryn's green belt should not be desecrated by housing and buildings that are not needed nor wanted

Traffic congestion, fill the properties we have empty now instead of building new builds residents cannot afford. KEEP BRYN GREEN

The traffic in this area is gridlocked at times now. Pollution and air quality is dreadful. Why make it worse and impact on the health of Bryn people?

This is not a sensible option, Bryn has very few green spaces left! I'm sure their are far better options.

The traffic at times going through Bryn to/from the motorway is ALREADY horrendous; this new development - especially the (definitely not needed) supermarket - will make things worse.

There are plenty of other sites which would benefit from development, this is not one of them. Leave our green spaces alone.

We do not want or need this development. We need cleaner air which is currently more polluted than the legal max, so how is having more traffic going to solve this

There is no need for another supermarket to be built here. Traffic is bad enough round this junction but more to the point a lovely bit of countryside that I am sure is green belt but smell something fishy

There is no need whatsoever for the destruction of the last bit of green in bryn as within the borough of wigan there are hundreds of vacant council houses plus private ones, there is also within about half a mile

This will not benefit us, but provide more pollution, more traffic, more noise, less countryside. Why do we need this development - we don't, we don't need another supermarket - we already have 3 within a mile radius. We don't need another industrial site - there is one up the road. This whole development is absurd, wrong and it is NOT WANTED! Greenbank go away!
