While there are empty industrial units on the South Lancs industrial Estate and even opposite on the Wheatlea Industrial Estate, empty shop premises in Wigan and Ashton and a need for a by-pass from junction 25 to the industrial estate, why the hell do we need this development?

This is NOT needed in Bryn! Loads of supermarkets and houses in this area already stand empty.

Apart from this being a "green area" Ashton, Wigan is already overcrowded. We have office and industrial units already standing EMPTY, UNUSED. We already have enough supermarkets, the latest being Morrisons in Bryn. We already have more than enough houses, the infrastructure and services are creaking now, we can not support any further increase in population without HUGE investment in the same. I am firmly opposed to this development for the reasons outlined.......

Wish the council planning would stop proposing to merge Wigan boroughs in to one with no green space seperating.

Green areas are a haven for wildlife ,once it's gone we can't get it back ,I object 100 percent
