Biffa is in the process of seeking planning permission for a small scale energy recovery site at Clarion close, llansamlet, this include an incinerator to burn refuse meant for landfill.
The site is 200 yards from residential housing and 3/4 km from Ysgol Lon Las where over 300 young kids attend.
