I just saw we hit two hundred and fifty signatures which is wild because I honestly thought this would just be a small thing for my neighbors to complain about in the park. It is really starting to sink in that people actually care about the air near the school even if I still get distracted thinking about how close those trucks are going to be to the playground.

My son goes to Lon Las and this would adversely affect not only good health but that of all the other children and the local residents. This is compete madness, to build such things in densely populated areas is absurd!
Detrimental to health and wellbeing of all people in the local area. Proven to impact health of people that live near by, in peer reviewed journal. Ex directors of BIFFA have said that incineration is not the best option for waste disposal
I’m not against the use of waste incinerators for burning refuse meant for landfill. Therefore it would be better to build them at existing landfill sites. Not a stones throw from a residential estate.
Why put this so close to housing and schools in a built up area? The council and government always bang on about no businesses wanting to set up on the vacant Felindre site, so put this there instead. Kill two birds with one stone
I live with my husband and 2 small children in a lovely estate very close to where this is planned to be built. I worry about the effect this will have on our lovely surroundings and the health of my family
This cannot go ahead . For the safety of our children and future , we must stop this happening .
No not on this will ruin our childrens health and also effect our local enviroment. Please stop this, too close to Humans, busineses and our beauty enviroment.

The close proximity of this proposed incinerator to a dense residential area, and to a school is very worrying. The case in the media over the past week, siting air pollution as the cause of death of a young asthmatic reinforces this.
