Going through a residential subdivision to relieve Hwy. 98 congestion would cause more problems. There are other ways to relieve congestion.

There’s already a lot of traffic and speeders in Holley by the Sea. If this road is approved, there will be an influx of more traffic, speeders and accidents.

We already have a speeding problem on Nevada and Frontera streets. This will cause more issues. 399 is already there, fix that road and leave the neighborhoods alone.

Going through a residential subdivision to relieve Hwy. 98 congestion is unacceptable.

This is a poor idea from the start. Keep the traffic out of our neighborhoods. It is currently child friendly, this would destroy that immediately. Not to mention property values and wildlife impacts as well.

Please don't destroy homes. Hwy 399 / aka East Bay Boulevard is the logical and already available choice. No wetlands to destroy and no homes taken.

The only only change this stupid road would bring is the same peak season hwy 98 traffic in the middle of OUR NEIGHBORHOOD ruin dozens of homes and guaranty harm to Holley by the Sea.

I live on Leisure Street w/lush woods across from my house. I would hate to see this happen in the middle of my neighborhood. Plus, I have a little library and families visit OFTEN! Children on bikes, parents walking pets, and using strollers. AND, why come so far into HBTS to get off 98? Perhaps MARLIN instead!?? Or Broadmoor Street even better!

This bypass will do more harm than good. It will in fact increase traffic over time by creating a false sense of “openness”, it will tank property values, it will encourage more homeless to transit thru the neighborhood, it will put our children at risk. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. A better solution would be to time the stoplights to keep traffic at a steady pace. For instance, a light pattern that would support maintaining 50/55 mph without stopping for 6/7mi could help alleviate traffic congestion on the east end. Make the shoulders on 98 wider, and the exit sections longer would help as well.

Will not help the congestion on the 98
This bypass is not a sufficient plan
