You DO NOT have to donate for your signature to be registered. This will go to the state of Georgia, everyone welcome to sign no matter where you live.
Our State has an epidemic and it has to be stopped! People are dying everyday due to Heroin. Counties such as Cherokee have taken time to spread the word and fight this epidemic. Our State leaders should be helping law enforcement do the same. The dealers need to be removed!
Fulton County, the fact that people all over this state know about the Bluffs should be enough to get it SHUT DOWN!
We prosecute to the fullest extent of the law for people who kill with guns, Heroin dealers should be treated the same.
We have had five deaths already this month in 2016 all from Cherokee county. Four passed away in the county and one while in rehab. Five deaths and in Eighteen days and that does not include all of the OD's that were able to be saved. We are as much in an epidemic and crisis as Fulton and the other counties.(these numbers have increased since this petition was started)
This is a State wide EPIDEMIC that has to be STOPPED!
Cherokee Fight Heroin-Meth Addiction has 2,826 members too many. Please assist the community in keeping this number from growing. Most members are family and friends of someone who died from an overdose of Heroin. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by this epidemic. Please help get the dealers off the streets before they take more lives.
The fact that Narcan kits exist says it all. This IS AN EPIDEMIC! Don't get me wrong, so glad the kits are available and have saved many.
My hopes are to raise attention of this rapidly growing epidemic and have officials step up and combat this evil that is taking so many lives.. If a post about a blunder by Steve Harvey, a deflated football or a political meme can go viral, this should blow the roof off!

Dealers that sell stuff to someone, and that someone dies because of it. If you cannot hold them accountable, at least arrest and prosecute on what you know to be true. How those who have the capacity to clean it up sleep at night is beyond my capacity!
Other diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Diabetes, etc. have been helped through campaigns that raise awareness and funds for research, education and treatment. It is time for this to happen with addiction. Too many families are suffering.
Not to mention about 5 dead in the past month in Alpharetta. But the government doesn't care... All they do is lock the heroine addicts up. Cause they make money off our bail, our fines. As our life crumbles.
I've struggled personally with this battle, and I'm luckily one of the people that's won the battle. It's a horrible addiction, and it'd be wonderful to see this epidemic ended with the proper treatment and help for addicts. Everyone deserves a chance to conquer their demons.
Our children need help, they are dying from this epidemic. Heroin is too easy to get and it is almost impossible to get treatment once addicted unless you have excellent insurance or big money.

Tanner LaMantia was my son whom I lost on January 10, 2016 to a Herion overdose. I'm going to start the Tanner Foundation with a focus on educating today's youth on the impact addiction to Herion will have on their family. This is a Demon that can take their life in a heart beat!
