It will only add to the traffic and congestion of the area. Residents will be moving away to get away from the stress of trying to get in our restaurants and onto the streets.
If you want Gulf Place to turn into another Seaside, with gridlock at one of the few remaining half way decent pedestrian areas.... And if you want to fuel the flames of the private beach advocates, then build, build, build!!

We've owned a home in SRB for 15 years and have watched the congestion, noise, and clutter build year after year. This hotel will only make matters worse and, in its own way (much like Emerald Grand in Destin), destroy the attractive small beach community atmosphere which brought most of us here.

As a homeowner in the immediate neighborhood, I am opposed to this project. There is totally inadequate infrastructure to support the traffic load that will be generated by such a project in addition to the two new subdivisions within a short distance of this hotel. This project must be stopped.

Aren't there plenty of homes for rentals? We moved to Gulf Place area 2years ago to retire. We are full time residents & love our small community just the way it is.

We enjoy the quieter end of 30A and don't more development nor hotels. The people that live on this part of 30A do so because they don't want to be in the middle of another Watercolor, Seaside or Rosemary Beach.

As both a property owner and a life-long lover of the 30-A corridor, I oppose the proposed hotel. The area does not need more high rise construction and destruction of natural vegetation. The area does not need anymore congestion.
