This proposed hotel in the Gulf Place Community will bring even more congestion to the area. It will turn the area into what most other areas have become-overcrowded.

I strongly oppose the construction of the Lagoon Manor motel/condo project. An added 200-250 transients would nearly double the population density at Gulf Place, irreversibly change the desirable character of this part of 30A, overload the existing infrastructure, and invite public safety issues.

Narrow beaches, ongoing drainage issues, lack of parking, inadequate pools for increases in visitors all contribute to why this idea is not a good one, please reconsider as parking on both sides of 393 and 30-A will cause danger to visitors, bike traffic and eventually ruin our area.

I am an owner at Gulf Place Caribbean and have been so happy with the area. I am not a fan of a hotel/motel and oppose the idea altogether. The residential feel of the area and the pristine beauty should be preserved and not over-commercialized.

We own in Cabanas--i have to entirely agree with every statement in the petition. For the stated reasons, I oppose the hotel proposal in its entirety.

I LIVE OFF OF 393 AND ALREADY HAVE A TIME GETTING IN AND OUT OF MY SUBDIVISION. ANOTHER 250 HOME COMMUNITY IS BEING BUILT NOW ON 393. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY 30A & 393 CAN HANDLE THIS!!

The Gulf Place community has always been special because of its tranquility (unlike Destin and Panama City Beach.) A hotel will introduce overcrowding in this area and destroy the special characteristics of this community. Please do the right thing for the families who enjoy the area so much!
