This will only increase the congestion that is in the 30A area. A moratorium should be placed on any buildings until the infrastructure is in place.

I am against the building of a hotel at Gulf Place. As a condo owner at GP Caribbean, I am sure that if this hotel is built, it will cause extra unwanted traffic, problems with parking, and too many people at Gulf Place. This will also cause a security concern, more garbage, etc. and will cause our property values to go down. I am against this being built and voice my concern.

As a condo owner at GP Caribbean, I am sure that if this hotel is built, it will cause extra unwanted traffic, problems with parking, and too many people at Gulf Place. Beach space, parking, you name it. Beach space is already getting limited. Traffic. the potential for accidents with pedestrians, the list goes on and on. A hotel on 30a takes away from the charm. Let's keep it "condos" and "townhouses" only.

I have to echo the concerns stated above. Gulf Place is not designed for the sort of population density the developers are wanting to create, and if allowed the entire nature of the location will be changed from a small neighborhood beachside community to a that of a congested resort town. That is not as good thing.

Gulf place is a small community along 30-A that provides home owners with an experience to enjoy low density, the beautiful beaches, lakes and natural beauty only the gulf provides. Parking within the complex is already a huge issue with limited spaces. Parking within the community does not allow enough spaces for owner now, If a motel were to be built it would bring an overwhelming number of cars and add more than 100 more people to our beaches which are crowded already. Gulf Place is next to Ed Waline park which is the busiest public access along 30-A. This access is used by local owners as well as a number of guests renting in neighborhoods off the beach. Secondly we have a major issue with water runoff and flooding during storms. Adding more asphalt and parking areas this will only make our water issues worse. We also need to consider our amenities which are all used by owners and renters now, adding a motel which could add an additional 100- 200 guest to these facilities.
In speaking with a number of home owners and local people they all want to preserve the beauty of 30-A, low density and a way of life that is long gone in most areas. We do not want to become a Destin or Panama City beach, however if motels are allowed to dot 30-A this is what we will become. Once the motels start to be built more and more will come and we will have over crowded beaches, lakes and we will not recognize 30-A as we know it now. There are some places that need to be left as a quaint and lovely area to visit and enjoy. I feel 30-A is one of those gems and I do not want to see it defaced by developers.

I vacation at least once every year in Santa Rosa and would hate to loose the "old Florida" feel, too many folks ruin a good vacation location.

I definitely don't want a hotel. We purchased our condo on 30A to be in a low density, family friendly and quiet environment.
