I have finished compiling the list of shelters still utilizing gas chambers and am drafting formal inquiries for each facility. These documents will be submitted to the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to verify their adherence to current state regulations.

The growth of this campaign has secured a meeting with state representatives to discuss current euthanasia protocols. I am currently finalizing a formal proposal that outlines specific legislative alternatives to gas chambers. Updates on the outcome of that dialogue will be posted here.

straight up cruel. my dog is family and this makes me sick to my stomach.
This is completely barbaric. How can any human justify doing this to living breathing creatures? There are other ways to handle overcrowding. Stop the gassing now!

THESE POOR BABIES DIDNT ASK TO BE BORN OR END UP IN A SHELTER. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE PRACTICE. SHUT IT DOWN.
