Being a former collegiate student athlete I cannot imagine my scholarship getting taken with no chance of recovery. Many students cannot afford their education without these scholarships, so this not only is taking away sports but it may be taking away a students education!

This decision has a ripple affect for all youth sports in the programs you cut and it will for generations. Please reconsider! Swallow your pride and do the right thing.

Collegiate athletics are important to all. So much you can learn from them. Don't reduce the number of sports! Give the athletes the opportunity of a lifetime!

This is ridiculous. How many student-athletes on these teams are there on partial or no scholarship that would not be at that school if it were not on these teams? That is still income to the university? And I'll bet that this income outweighs the income for Football.

I am outraged!!! Good luck Jay Friedman who came up to me at the new swimming blocks celebration this January and asked how can we raise money from your wealthy bright swimming alumni? So sorry to see these programs with brilliant alumni who probably give back in ways more powerful than you realized. The late President Bill Griener who brought UB into the MAC with much foresight and vision never intended it would cause athletics to cut programs. This is THE FLAGSHIP UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK STATE, this is a disgrace that this is your solution in athletics!!! Heartbroken for the current student/athletes, alumni and the thwarted future bulls!!!
