The athletic department just confirmed that all the threatened teams are officially being reinstated. I keep thinking about the teammates who can finally go back to training without worrying about their future. We won this fight together so let us stay vigilant to ensure the administration follows through on their …

Recently a number of sports which includes; men's swimming, men's soccer, baseball and diving and women's rowing have all been eliminated by the University at Buffalo. The achievements of all the athletes on these teams have been on a great level. It is really unfair for all of these student-athletes that have been impacted by this decision. This decision got out suddenly without any heads up for them, it has impacted hundred of students. Please sign this petition! Let us make things turn around and let us fight to keep the sports at UB and most importantly get the students rights back!. Let us also take a moment and appreciate all of the sacrifices those students-athletes have been doing to represent this school.

Seeing 5,000 names attached to this fight is overwhelming because I know how much these teammates sacrificed for the school. My heart is heavy for every athlete who lost their program but seeing this level of backing gives me real hope for what comes next.

Seeing the numbers climb reminds me of the hard work those athletes put into every practice before this decision was forced upon them. We need to push harder to hit that first hundred mark so the university sees that we are not going away quietly. Please get this in front of anyone who cares about the future of our teams.

My son was signing there next Friday. He had already told his present university and they gave away his roster spot and scholarship money and signed a new player. MY SON NOW HAS NO SCHOOL TO GO TO IN THE FALL. this is disgusting what has happened.

My grandson is starting as a freshman at UB in the fall. He is an outstanding soccer player and was so looking forward to trying out for the team. Now he has lost that opportunity. We are all very disappointed with your decision. Please reconsider.

Don't do this to these athletes. I am an alumni and my nephew now goes to UB as part of the Bulls men's swimming. It's a travesty. Find the $2 million. There is ALWAYS a way and you know it. Cut the fat and give these 120 athletes their lives back!!!!

I am deeply saddened for my daughter who was a prospective coxswain for the UB Women's rowing team. She was hoping to stay in the area where she learned to row and support the area. Womens rowing is one of the top scholarship opportunities for girls

How much is extra is men's swimming and diving really cost? One coach, coaches the men and women. The facility is still being used by the women. They share what little equipment they utilize with the women's team. I don't see the great savings for this one.

As a previous student athlete who experienced the same thing in my career at Clemson, I hope that you will seriously consider the consequences your actions have on your student athletes, who serve as some of the best ambassadors you school has
