Completely unfair to freshman signed athletes who are left with no academic or athletic scholarship opportunities elsewhere. Why would they want to stay at a university for academics when they were so betrayed the said university. Such a shameful display of inconsideration by U of Buffalo

Eliminating men's swimming and diving, soccer, baseball and women's rowing is a short-sighted decision with no real thought given to the students and coaches affected nor the long term damage to UB Athletics.

Sport are a key element of well-being. Eliminating sports like this reduces options and also make the executive at UB look ridiculous

How cam you make such a quick move without considering the significant impact to those hard-working student athletes?

UB was a possible "one and done" fit for my son regarding the men's swim team, academic options in medical sciences and cost. Cutting a great team/great coaches is a deal breaker for us

The depth and breadth of athletics adds essential fabric to the quality of student life. Truly great institutions work to increase the number of programs offered. Many highly qualified high school seniors in the affected sports with impressive academic credentials will no longer look to UB. This represents a lowering of prestige for the institution across the state and beyond. Mistakes can be corrected. Please consider alternative ways to fund these programs rather than eliminating them. Thanks for reconsidering.
