Stop the Elimination of the Sports at UB (men's swimming, men's soccer, baseball and diving and women's rowing)

This is all about keeping their "big-time" football program. Gimme a break, save the teams

Being a part of the swim team helped make my college experience the best four years of my life. Don't take that opportunity away from future generations.

This is ridiculous and completely unfair. There shouldn't be so many of these major teams that are being eliminated, at such a large university, where students should have the opportunity to engage with rigorous academics as well as sports teams. These are not unusual sports and if funding is a problem then something should be done to fix it rather than to eliminate the teams entirely.

As a previous student athlete who experienced the same thing in my career at Clemson, I hope that you will seriously consider the consequences your actions have on your student athletes, who serve as some of the best ambassadors you school has

Let's spread this anywhere you can.

I support keeping the sports you already have, especially mens swimming.

Why tho

Don't cut swimming and diving.

It's embarrassing that the programs involved weren't addressed prior to this and given an opportunity to raise the necessary funds or cut down on current funds to save their programs. As a former ball player at Buffalo I'm saddened by the lost opportunity for a lot of great young athletes and embarrassed that my alum has handled things as poorly and unprofessionally as they have.

Sports is a big part of UB's diversity and culture! It's wrong to punish students and student athletes!

You can't get rid of diving

No one should have their dreams slipped from underneith them when they have done nothing but be proud of the school they compete for

Keep the teams they're pretty dank

UB has a very unique swim program because it's co-ed. The swimmers are there for each other in and out of the water. My daughter is a UB alum student athlete and had a wonderful experience at UB. During the recruitment process she chose UB because of the chemistry between the men and women's team. Practiceing with the men made her a better swimmer. UB has a great legacy with it's swim program it would be a shame to see half of it go away. It won't be the same.

This is an outrage for any student athletes committed to UB for these sports
