We are all family in the MAC, UB swim and dive was always one of my favorite meets because of the competition and comradery we shared with UB specifically. Too good of a team to cut

So many athletes have had their dreams cut short. Shameful timing by the university.

timing is horrible. NCAA has so many compliance rules, can't believe they can let a D1 program leave athletes high and dry by canceling programs. This is SO WRONG.

Eliminating the swim team, especially as late in the year as April, has an extremely negative affect on both current swimmers and recruits. Men's swimming is also invaluable to the success of the women's program.

Save UB Sports. Look at all programs, funding and the entire budget. Ask for help from the students and alumni.

The women's rowing team is a diverse, competitive component of UB's athletics department. Moving forward with the proposed cuts emphasizes the lack of support for a sport that encompasses the core values of the University at Buffalo.

As close friends with people from these teams, some already participating and some incoming, I can confidently say this is the worst decision made by a college in recent years. The loss of talent and poor timing is an atrocity, and absolutely needs to be reconsidered.

How can the Board of Trustees and the college President be so out of touch with wasteful expenditures of the football team?

There has to be another way-a fairer way to all of the athletes impacted.

Awful for the student athletes whose decisions on where to attend college were made with the athletic piece being a big component

There proposed disintegration of the swim team is disrespectful to my friend and swim colleague Alec Hoch, whom you gave scholarships to swim at your school. Please reconsider.

Very disappointing! Understand the business end of it BUT to hold off on timing was absolutely unfair to the athletes! There has to be another way to offset this!

Eliminating the men's swim and dive team the regularly puts out NCAA level swimmers and more importantly athletes who qualify and attend Olympic trials. How many other teams at UB do that?
