Women's Rowing is historically a very successful sport at UB; this is garbage.

I am also a D1 student athlete, and I cannot even imagine how abandoned these fellow swimmers must feel. We work just as hard as any other sports team, if not harder. For the AD and President to cut a program, which includes 6 athletes named to the All-MAC team and a third place overall finish at MAC's, is thoroughly disappointing.

Cutting a team this late in the year with zero warning is simply unacceptable. There is no reason to cut the programs containing about 1/5 your student athletes for a minor amount of savings compared to your budget.

Cut administration, don't take away from the students who pay to go there.

It's sad to see successful teams get punished and their sport cut.

As a former student athlete and women's tower this saddens me to see that a university would take away all of the fantastic oppurtunities for growth and leadership within their athletic community.
