This is an outrage especially when they are planning an $18,000,000 football facility when the current is very nice

I myself am a college swimmer. It would be hard to imagine this happening.

Keep active for currently enrolled student/athletes. Phase out starting with next fall freshmen.

Very disappointing. These student athletes dedicated so much to these sports in order to compete at the collegiate level. They work day in and day out on top of their academics to be apart of this school, community, and athletic organization. They deserve a lot more than this, thats for sure. Sad.

Swimming is something that has had a great positive impact on my mental health in college and taking something like that is ridiculous and wrong.

As a former UB student-athlete and member of SAAC, I continue to be proud and blessed from my experience at UB. Lucky to have shared these memories with a group of the most hardworking and dedicated individuals. Disappointing and shocking but hopeful that UB will do what is best for the programs and the school.

This is an imperative part of the student experience for athletes. There is money. It needs to be reallocated. Please work to correct this mistake!

The administration's decision to eliminate several athletic teams, without discussion or input from faculty & students, in my opinion, was a poor one. The athletes involved are as hard working and as committed to their respective teams and UB as the athletes on the "favored" teams. Yet the University has decided to minimize them and their contributions.
In years to come , when they reflect on their years at UB , this decision will be in their memory banks. I would urge that you reconsider this decision.
