Stop the Elimination of the Sports at UB (men's swimming, men's soccer, baseball and diving and women's rowing)

Sports is very important to these students! Save the girls rowing team!

My nephew swims (swam) for UB. It would be a shame to disrupt these athletes education and educational experience to because the college chose to eliminate these teams. The college made a commitment to these athletes and needs to stand behind ALL sports not just certain sports.

It is unjust to take away something as important as a student athletes sport.

I think it is absurd that such a large institution like UB is not able to maintain some of the core athletic teams. This decision was not only heart breaking for the student athletes but also for the rest of the student body along with their friends, family and alumni who have supported UB and it's numerous athletics.

this is ridiculous! my brother swam for this school for 4 years and I worked for the team for a portion of this time. the swim team is a major contender in the Mac conference this is completely cruel and unfair!

Women's Swimming & Diving Alum of 1987. Disappointed in the notification process and the decision making. No Men's Swimming or Men's Soccer won't just impact those teams, but the respective Women's teams as well. The vision lacks insight into these two sports, and their capacity to efficiently share resources. I definitely would not have made the donation I made this year, had I known this was going to happen.

Please keep these sports as a part of your program. Sports are a big factor in deciding what schools these student-athletes attend.

The school's leaders have failed to honor their commitment to a group of students who happen to be athletes. If cuts needed to happen it should have been made clear to all a year ago not in this cruel and cowardly manner. Shame on those that made this decision.

This is ridiculous, how can you cut five programs while football is allowed to spend almost $30 on dinner?? My D1 sports team spends $15 on dinner! That's it! Not just that, they spend $70,000 on a hotel that is right across campus. Just ridiculous and uncalled for.

First 2020 plan to no longer be a SUNY and now this, glad I decided against going to grad school here
