Unacceptable

To take sports away from a student at this level is the same as taking an instrument out of the hands of a musician. It's unfair to all of these kids who worked so hard to get to where they are at, at this level! There is no time to find other schools and opportunities. I'm very disappointed to hear this, as a student athlete in college 20 years ago I learned to focus, time manage, be a member of a "team".

All athletes should have the opportunity to present themselves

I'm signing because my friend had to be informed at the last minute that she couldn't attend the school that she had planned on going to for months. Now, she has to scramble for a new and unfamiliar school that offers girls rowing

So unfair to these student athletes especially telling them after the deadlines to transfer to other schools has passed and other athletes have been recruited to fill their teams next year already

I swim for Tufts and from personal experience, I know how positive of an impact college athletics can have on an individual

How difficult for incoming students choosing Buffalo from other possibilities and then at this last possible moment leaving them high and dry. Shame

Played baseball for Canisius and the rivalry between us is just as good as the one with Niagara.

Save UB athletics

Hard to see sports with such passion be taken away from the student body like that. Those athletes wanted to go to UB to play that sport and now it's gone.

Horrible decision making and delivery. A blemish on the University.

Every should be able to play any sport they wish

This is awful to all the kids who lose scholarships to play the sports they love due to budget cuts.
