Title 9 was not put in place to hurt men's athletics at the college level. Funding for men's sports should be funded so that both men's and women's athletics can thrive at the collegiate level. It is good for student athletes as well as the university as a whole. Please consider changing your position and reinstate the sports that have been cut.

Please reconsider the decision to cut men's baseball from the UB sports program. This was VERY upsetting news. I simply cannot imagine WHY you would choose to cut such a popular and traditional sport as baseball. My son is very disappointed as UB sports, especially baseball, was one of the things that drew him to your school and helped him choose his education there. M. Manthey Marietta, NY

As an alumni of UB I can not believe that no one attempted to find funding from outside sources before such a radical cut was made.

As someone that lived through athletics events freshman year - which compelled me to stay with this University - I co-sign this petition to the Maximum.

In addition to the 180+ student-athletes this impacts, let us not forget about the coaches who just lost their jobs.

Soccer is a sport that brings joy to my life. To take that away is to take away the only true happiness I ever had.
