Not understanding how a university of this size can eliminate Division 1 teams.....then wait til it is too late for these kids to transfer for the next year. Appalling! My heart goes out to all these kids!

kids need sports and school - the ones that committed to your university for these benefits of a sports program deserve the chance - lets keep them in New York State

What about the high school seniors students who sign to play here. Their goals to play division 1 sports are ruined. Too late for most of them to go after other offers

This is ridiculous. How can you not fund the successful programs, but continue to fund programs that don't produce results?

Don't do this to these athletes. I am an alumni and my nephew now goes to UB as part of the Bulls men's swimming. It's a travesty. Find the $2 million. There is ALWAYS a way and you know it. Cut the fat and give these 120 athletes their lives back!!!!

These kids have worked so hard to get here. Please considering bringing them back. It's too late in the year to find spots on another team.

If I would not have joined the United States Marine Corps right out of high school, this was my number one school to go to. It was because of the swimming program. I grew up swimming and dream to swim there after my contract if possible. With the elimination of the program my chances would be impossible.

These students worked very hard to be able to compete at the highest level of college athletics. You are not letting down just them but their family and friends who want to see them succeed. By doing so you're creating a very bad name for UB. Don't further tarnish the reputation of our school.
