Parents have the right to choice a public school and not to be forced to go charter!! Why does Mr. Meckley wait till now to say the school board has not been following the guidelines?? He was put in that position a few yrs back to help the distirict!! He was negligent on his duities !!

Turning the York city schools into charter schools is not the answer. Think about the scholarships that you will be taking away from the kids that have worked so hard to achieve them.

Charters are not the answer, York City children need and deserve the teachers that love and understand them and the way they learn. Refund our inner city schools with equity and give these needy students an equal chance.

If we sit quiet, as a community we will have no input on how oyr children and grand children are educated. We will also giving up our right to vote as our elected school board will become moot.
