It breaks my heart to think that some people think so little about preserving our history and buildings for our children and grandchildren. This is a lovely building part of the history of what used to be a small village. Please reconsider please

What right do these people have to take away a major part of the village's heritage -especially when so much of it has been destroyed. Is nothing safe?! This is an extremely short-sighted and culturally destructive proposal. Have some respect for the origins of our village!

These hurried decisions impact on a community. If there is doubt, it must be given further consideration. Communities suffer when their environment is damaged by outside forces. Very alienating.

This would be a very sad day for Eldwick if the church is demolished. There will be nothing left of the once bustling village if this is demolished. All of the key village characteristics have all been removed....the bakers, paper shop, petrol station, butchers, green grocers, fish & chip shop & more importantly the school the church cannot join this list.

This would be a very sad day for Eldwick if the church is demolished. There will be nothing left of the once bustling village if this is demolished.
