if we can't do away with religion altogether, then let's keep the pretty buildings too.

The increased number of parking spaces was highlighted by Mr Rishworth at the meeting on 12th Feb. Both options would have more usable space inside, but the only 'plus' that became evident at this meeting for the demolition and new build, as was pointed out by several of the people attending the meeting- was thatmore parking spaces would be made. Struggling to see any other 'USP's' but let me know if you have any. Regarding 'village hangers on', by that I presume you mean people who live in the village and care about it's history and heritage.

Good morning, I am most intrigued to know what a "Village Hanger on" is? Could you elaborate? Is it one of the many hundreds of people living in the village that do not want this church to be demolished because they care? Is it someone who has has lived in this village for generations? Is it someone who attends the church, but maybe not every week. Is it someone who attended the meeting to air their views on the 12th Feb but were made to feel unwelcome and were heckled and ridiculed for having a point of view? Maybe it's a member of the congregation who feels sidetracked and disengaged because they want the church to stay? I would really to love to know. Perhaps you could let me know? Kind regards.....
