Outragious, this church is Eldwick, I have so many memories from being born in the village. It is a beautiful building .

I went to church there as a girl, got married there,my children were christened there & I have always been so proud of what a beautiful village church. I had moved from Eldwick when I got married but no other church matched up to the pretty village one I grew up with. If it needs to be bigger please dont change the front view it would be quite easily extended from the back. Village churches like this are hard to find.

churches like these are the soul of the village. The proposals are a deviant method to achieve a small minorities aims to the cost of the heritage of Eldwick.

Please do not destroy this picturesque church which is part of Eldwick's history and is much loved by the local community and visitors alike. Preparing for the future doesn't mean that you have to destroy the past.

To many historic building are being destroyed & replaced by modern hideous building let's not let this happen to the beautiful church that holds not only historic merit to the village but historic memories for a lot of the villagers. My older sister who sadly no longer with us was christened at the church & I am getting my own daughter christened there at the end of March.

I grew up in Eldwick and it's been sad enough seeung the heart ripped out of the community by recent changes. Please keep this last vestige of community life and spirit so it doesn't become the vacant, American style sprawl of neighbouring towns like Bingley or Shipley. Studies shows that investing in a sense if community reduces crime rates and promotes respect. Leave us with a place (other than the pub!) where this can happen. Please.
