Part of our heritage and village charm and should be preserved.

it would change the fabric of the village to knock it down. An exciting new extension would be a natural progression not a destructive one.

It would be helpful if the Eldwick Church Trustees and the NEW building project team, would release all drawings and costings to enable further discussion, and to show the extension scheme has been wrongly overvalyed.

We need to act with intelligence and wisdom. The building is part of the village heritage and should not be seen as "disposable". An imaginative extension would value

This is so wrong the church is part of the village heritage why are people insistent on knocking lovely old buildings down and replacing them with modern building that just look terribly out of place.

Over 100 signatures in the first day!! Spread the word and let's save the old church building and start planning the new exciting extension instead. The people have spoken!!!

I am not a ludite and do not oppose progression but it must never be at the expense of history and heritage. We cannot and should never simply erase our past.

Many memories of this church and although I do understand the need for progress, that shouldn't include removing a part of a villages history.
