Who do we think we are that we have the right to demolish the tangible reminder of the villagers (past and present) births, deaths, marriages and worship. Will be a tragedy for the village is this goes ahead.

The church has a heitage and a history that the village must maintain. Thre church is of a sufficient size to suit its purpose and those who wish to attend services. To pull down our heitage for no specific gain is ridiculous. Work to the rear of the church will achieve the goals required without pulling the actual church down

My three children were christened in that church. It would be a shame to loose such a central building of history in the village.

The Methodist Chapel was not demolished but was sympathetically recycled as was the school so why demolish St Lawrence's church. An extension to the back of the church is definately the only option.
