Many Nigerian graduates have lost opportunities due to delay in processing transcript at their different universities. I almost lost my direct entry admission at the University of Ibadan due to delay experienced at Olabisi Onabanjo University but for God's intervention. A friend told me she lost a job opportunity in the United States of America. Another lady lost admission abroad due to delay at University of Ibadan. It takes months and years for some people to eventually get it. For some, it took bribe or connection. My father had to contact someone highly placed before I got my transcript from Olabisi Onabanjo University.

Too many dividends of a 4/5 years degree or less have been ripped off by delay in transcript processing.
We always need transcript for further admission, appointments and some jobs. Even some in their 50s go through the same stress just to get their transcript sent to where it is needed. How long and how many times do we have to be stressed for what can be gotten so easily and without stress if done digitally? We need a change in the situation.

We are asking the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA; MINISTRY OF EDUCATION; NATIONAL UNIVERSITIES COMMISSION for following interventions:
1. The process should become DIGITAL in all school whereby students apply online and receive student copy online. Students should be copied in e-mails delivering transcript to other institutions and organisations.
2. Young, computer literate and efficient people should be in transcript offices.
3. Transcript department/ office in schools should not join strike as opportunities lost cannot be regained
