Residents of palmiste had not been consulted on the construction and operation of a kids water park in palmiste park , palmiste has become very unsafe with a recent spike in crimes in the area , this initiative will only worsen the already terrible crime situation in the neighborhood
The local authorities thought they could shove this dangerous project through without anyone noticing. They clearly underestimated how much we refuse to let them destroy our neighborhood safety.

Building a water park in Palmiste park makes no sense. Industrializing a park where people go to enjoy the greenery, building a water park will hence need to build a parking area also as parking is already a problem on a busy day. This will use up more of the green land Palmiste has.

1. who consulted residents on this ?
2. weather is a water park or play park again no residents were consulted ?
3.Is there a CEC from EMA for this project ?
4. Who are the stakeholders involved ?
5. Is anyone in RapidFire aware of the environmental effects this is going to have on the park ?
6. Imagine caimans where removed from their homes due to fears of children being eaten ,and now you're building a play park next to the pond ?

Tearing down an eco system is sometimes a necessity to house people its an inevitable situation that happens all the time, but in this case houses and businesses have been built around this eco system, why tear it apart now? Why not be in the business of preservation? We preserve turtles and other wildlife why can't this park also be preserved?

This is useless. The park is barely maintained well and there continues to be an influx of people coming and driving all over in the greens to lime and litter. The park was so peaceful and serene before all of its 'development.' There are ways that money could be spent to enhance/preserve the flora and fauna of the park. No support for this concrete jungle ideation.

Although I am not a resident of Palmiste, I used the pasture until the incidences of criminal activities increased. Construction of a water park would negatively impact on the environment, ecosystem and the residents. There are other ways to facilitate users of the pasture without disruption.

The residents of Palmiste need to be consulted at all times. Majority of the people who utilize the park are not residents of Palmiste. Rules and regulations need to be set.
