I am so saddened and surprised that LLOYDS Chemist in Rhiwbina, Cardiff is to close its shop in December, 2020. As a pensioner, with health issues, this shop has been a life line for me. All my medication has been dispensed here for over twenty years, and if l have a query the staff have been extremely helpful in assisting me. Nearly everyone residing in Rhiwbina are reliant on their services. I do hope consideration is given for the store to remain open.

This is an essential service in a densely populated area, with many older residents reluctant to have to travel for the varied services a pharmacy has to offer.

It would be real loss to the village we have already no Post Office no Bank and now no Pharmacy We are told by the NHS if you have a slight illness to consult your pharmacist how can you do that if there is no pharmacy in the village.
There are a wonderful caring staff at Lloyd’s and they will be a great loss to the community

Closure will severely affect lots of elderly people living close by who are dependent on having a pharmacy within walking distance.

We use this pharmacy all the time and we have often taken the children there for advice instead of bothering the Doctor and the staff are so helpful and lovely. It will be a terrible blow for the community especially the elderly as it is a lifeline for so many .

The impact of its closure would be devastating to the local community especially its more elderly and vulnerable people. I work with people who have dementia and multiple health problems who reply on this chemist to provide delivery of medication and local support. It would be such a loss.

Lloyd’s in Rhiwbina is a crucial primary health facility which serves our community to an exceptional high standard. We will not have access to a similar facility near by . Appalling decision to close and GP surgeries are overwhelmed.
