Rhiwbina needs it's local pharmacy. It was bad enough for the local population that the Post Office was allowed to close. We need to be able to walk to these places and acquiring medication is on the list of essential needs, or have I got that wrong?

It would be awful for all the elderly and not so old who don't have cars as they will have to travel quite a way to a Chemist,not all on bus journey plus people don't want to travel on public transport,or may be unable to.

I would like for you to reconsider the closure of the pharmacy in Rhiwbeina as it is a vital service in the community especially as so many elderly people depend on it. If the shop is too large, there are smaller outlets available in the village instead.

This chemist is really important for our community. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I rely on this branch for my prescriptions. The closest chemist will be Whitchurch which is less convenient, particularly as I have been using their collection service since the start of the pandemic. Also there are elderly people in Rhiwbina who will find it really hard if this service is taken away. Not everyone has the use of a car.

As if things aren’t difficult enough for the elderly generation. They’ve already lost a bank in this village...please don’t let them lose something which is a critical lifeline for them.
