If this closes then Atherstone will be a ghost town. Not to mention how much this place does for the town and charities. Keep barcode open and be thankful for them

Never seen any trouble in barcode in its 2 and a half... full of friendly people havin a laugh... This is how atherstone should be... A close knitted community

Never known any trouble in this place! Owners do lots for local community and raise loads of money for charity, local businesses like this should be encouraged not threatened with closure!!!

Great bar run by great local lads, when I was 18 going out in Atherstone could be dangerous not anymore and it's because of this place.

Shutting down a business that has raised over £20,000 for a few different charities, ridiculous. You won't get a better night in atherstone and you'llalso kill off a lot of the town spirit, it just seems like the authorities hate seeing people do well.

Barcode has so many memories for me and it would be a real shame to see it close down! Everyone's friendly and always enjoy myself in here , one of the only bars in the town that i would drink in!

Cannot understand this pointless decision these guys do endless work within the community and mainly for the kids so why do this
We have regular nights in here and have never seen any trouble and feel safe within the enviroment....this is madness re think this decision

always enjoyed our nights there, helpful and friendly. helped us with charitable events also. annual event held there each year for family and great atmosphere

This epitomises how out of touch the police and council are with the general public. I haven't seen a comment or opinion anywhere since this story broke of anybody supporting this decision. What an absolute joke.
