Barcode should not be shut down, it's a great place which has done so much for our community !

Disgusted that the last bit of 'night life' is being taken away from Atherstone. The town already is only a shadow of its old self... this will completely finish the town.

Safely run friendly COMMUNITY bar that has helped so many with charity events etc. To even contemplate closing Barcode is an outrage. Save Barcode !!

I have only ever heard good things about bar code will be such a sad lose to this town if it shuts they have gone above and beyond for charities not many pubs can say that round atherstone keep it open

Not actually been to barcode however have seen how much money they have raised for charity which deserves more than a signed petition, try stopping actually crime !

Barcode has been good for the town for all ages to meet up and have a chat and fun.
This venue is not trouble, it's a meeting place for many people

Been in there 3 time now and had a great night each time. Felt safe at all times and the was not one bit off trouble. Happy safe place to be

I have only heard good reports about a place in Atherstone that was always a white elephant that nobody could make a go of. It has done a lot of fundraising for local causes and I see no reason to shut what is a thriving business down.Perhaps the council want another charity shop and another nail in the towns coffin. A disgraceful decision. I would add that I am 62 so not a regular bar code customer but I defend their right to provide a service which is lacking in the town !

Lovely place don't shut it down very friendly they do a lot of work for charities and things I've seen so there doing a good job don't close it only decent place to drink in Atherstone

Council need to take tree head for a wobble what an absolute joke ! The lads at bar code have worked hard to get where at now and have a bar that everyone goes to and enjoys it
