Is atherstone going to be a small town like Nuneaton full of charity and pound shops. Listen to your people... for a change! They live there. Good luck xx

Gotta keep the doors open!! I've never felt more welcome in Atherstone than in there. The guys running the place and everyone who drinks there are a great bunch that the town should be proud of.

We have never had any cause to call the local police at barcode after 2 and a half years trading. We have also raised over £25000 for charities. Now think about this people; local charities, cancer charities that affect numerous people, a children's hospital where we brought hundreds of presents for children that would be facing one of their Christmases in hospital, local sports teams and also helping people that have suffered at the hands of low life thiefs that feel the need to steal charity boxes by helping to replace the money. "If you're not making someone else's life better, then you're wasting your time. Your life will become better by making other lives better. Please continue supporting us!

Best bar in the town and the owners are local lads who also do stacks for local charities. Why on earth would the local council want to close it?

Why would you close such a well run establishment. Iv never heard of any trouble nor has there ever been any trouble on any of my nights out in there! It's not tolerated for a start. Respectful owners I think it's devastating the only place in town that actually bring people back to atherstone!!

I'm from Hinckley - Barcode is a safer venue than most of the places in my town. Been there a number of times and never seen any issues.

I don't go in very often but when I do I am made very welcome and in all my years I don't think I have been in such a friendly and safe club. Absolutely disgraceful and spiteful thing to do!
