What are the benefits of this proposal to Springfield Township as a governmental entity or to Township residents? I have not heard of any yet. So, if there are no good reasons for the Township to support Cheltenham Trans' proposal to greatly increase the number of vehicles using the Tank Car and Giuliani sites, why approve it?. Would business tax receipts increase if the proposal is approved? If so, that might be a reason to support the proposal. If not, the increased traffic, noise, air and water pollution, and the lowering of many residents' property values (and eventually, assessments) suggest that if the Planning Commission and Commissioners care about the quality of Oreland taxpayers' lives, they should vote against the proposal.

Please Stop these buses now! The buses traffic activities, wind speed, and direction can have a big influence on pollutant concentrations in our town. Generally, the more traffic, the higher the emissions; however, certain activities like congestion, stop-and-go movement or high-speed operations can increase emissions of certain pollutants. We expect high traffic and that will impact our neighborhood. The combination of rush hour in the morning and evening often leads to the highest concentrations of pollution during this time of the day. Too much traffic at the intersections of Oreland Mill Rd,Orlemann Ave and Walnut Ave now. Many vehicles, do not stop at the stop signs. I can watch them from my front porch. Turn the property into something the township can use. Even a storage center is a better use.. Plus, Walnut Ave is a narrow road and it is hard to negotiate with the traffic of any oncoming truck now. Keep this area free of heavy traffic or a pedestrian will be injured! My family has lived in the same house, now mine, since 1956! Let them find a place in their own township! Who will pay for our Police to police them?

We do not need more traffic on the streets in Oreland. As a mother of 3 small children it is busy enough on our street without the addition of all those school buses. Many of our streets do not have side walks and having the large buses coming down our streets will not be safe for the children, residents and pets walking at the curb line. Cheltenham township should store their own buses.

Walnut avenue is too narrow to safely handle the increased volume. Especially with no sidewalks for pedestrians that walk to the park. Widen the road and I'd support the proposal.

I assumed the issue had been settled last year and cannot believe the township is once again entertaining this ludicrous proposal for school buses that are not even operated for Springfield Township. I don't want the impact the disruptionon our peaceful neighborhood and vehemently oppose this. These buses need to be stored in Cheltenham Township.

We do not want a bus depot in Oreland, it. Will createa lot of traffic. Also the streets will take a beating
