India, they of course have pros and cons as others, and we can talk a lot about their sanitary conditions, but they have new law on surrogacy. They require document from the Embassy in which it is said that they allow to undergo surrogacy program in India and they will register the child, but as I know, if in your country surrogacy is illegal, this procedure is impossible. I would rather recommend you to choose Ukraine for surrogacy. It is European country, low costs, and in Biotexcom clinic they propose guaranteed result and they are very successful in this field.

There should be laws around surrogacy banning it would not make sense . You are stopping people's dreams from coming true. Laws to cover the surrogate and not exploits them .

Do not stop surrogacy. Stop exploitation by the surrogacy agencies. Punish corrupt, not the needy women.

Instead of putting a ban on surrogacy, rules should be framed (& honestly implemented) to stop exploitation by the surrogacy agencies.

It's a service mutually beneficial to both the future parents and the surrogates. It should be open for at least the people of Indian origin.

I used a surrogate in Anand in 2014 to carry our beautiful daughter because of medical issues that left me unable to carry our own baby. This was our last option. We tried IVF and adoption before trying surrogacy. I am still in contact with my surrogate and send her money every Diwali and on our daughter's birthday. This has changed her life for the better and has helped us become parents. Regulation rather than a ban should be the preferred method to avoid exploitation and abuse of the surrogates.

This totally unfair for the couple who are desperately seeking for baby. Ban is not a solution to this billion dollar project where indian govt lose huge amount of foreign currency. There should a proper regulations where both parties can be benifited.

My sincere plea to the government of India to stop the ban on surrogacy. Me and my wife were all set to come to India in March for surrogacy, since this is our last hope for having a biological child. We are Indians holding PIO cards, and have never considered ourselves as foreigners , we have residences in Bombay, with our parents and siblings living there, and have always considered ourselves to be Indians. This sudden ban is devastating for us, please streamline and have tighter controls for surrogacy but do not ban the noble cause that gives so many of us Indians living overseas a hope to live and be called parents. Please make exception for PIO cards holders at least. We shall remain in gratitude to the Govt of India, who has known to be always been NRI friendly.

Please do not ban surrogacy in india. It is a blessing for couples who get a baby of their own and also the surrogates get quality life and the means to support their families. Banning surrogacy will lead to these people seeking other ways, probably illegal, to earn a living. Clinics like Dr. Patel's in Anand who take good care of their surrogates should be allowed to continue. Please streamline and regulate process, but kindly allow it to continue. Many couples have their hearts and hopes set on it in the dream of having a child of their own. I would request the Indian government to look at this as a noble cause, which is what it is in essence.

I am pleading with our good Prime minster to stop the ban on surrogacy . It gives many of us Indian married couples living overseas hope to have our own biological child, as well as help contribute towards the well being of the surrogate carrying the child .

Please do not put ban on Surrogacy. Most people who opt for this path is out of medical necessity than anything else. Please do not deprive the joy of having their baby.

Surrogate process has been a solution for many people. You people in high positions may feel like it is not important because you have never been in the shoes of people who need it. Please you need to stop the ban and put yourselves in the shoes of people who desperately need it.
