please don't ban surrogacy for oci horlder originally they belong to india. if surrogacy is the only option couple have what they will do. every one deserve to be happy and have child. please please don't ban it make more hard rule and regulations but don't ban it

I started my fertility treatment in India in May 2015, but I only came to know that I can have baby through surrogacy in November 2015. I am a Canadian, but my husband is Indian citizen. If I can carry baby on my own then I will not seek for a surrogacy. Surrogacy is my last option to have one time life opportunity have a baby.I sacrificed to have baby through the surrogacy in India, but I am extremely sad that the law changed and I can't even have baby through surrogacy after one year as considering my medical situation. I will greatly appreciate if the Indian government remove the ban over surrogacy. Surrogacy is a greatest thing that any woman can do...

Banning surrogacy does no one any favours. Have some sense a properly regulated surrogacy arrangements are the way forward.

Myself and my wife have been staying in india since 2011 on OCI status. Married for 15 years. No children and after several tries of IVF our only hope to be parents is via surrogacy. I plead to the Government of India to rethink their policy for people in dire need. Nobody is doing surrogacy to entertain. It's a need for someone to live.

My wife and I had three babies in India via surrogacy (April 2013). One surrogate gave us twins, and one gave us a single. The one who gave us the single baby went home and never cam around during my 76 days there after the births. The one who gave us the twins stayed as a 24/7 nanny, plus gave some breast milk daily for all three. Once per year my wife and I wire her some money, because we care about her and her family and want them to have the best lives possible. We do this of our own volition. Where is the exploitation?

Banning is not the way to go. There should be more regulation but not banning especially OCIs. This is our last hope/chance to have a baby. This will cut our ties to India as well. This is causing a tremendous sadness for my husband and I. We are devastated and distraught over this ruling. We would be losing our dream to have a child. Please don't ban but regulate!!
