We are grateful for the hope that you give couples that are unable to have a child without help. We will respect your decision but pray that you continue to allow international surrogacy. THANK YOU

Having a child by a surrogate mother in India was our last available option. It resulted in the birth of a beautiful girl. Without Nayana and her surrogacy service we would be childless and our lives would be miserable. It is an absolute travesty that this law has the potential to stop any other couples like ourselves having their own children.

It should be a free choice and not by force.

Surrogacy is a proven and safest method to deal with issues of couples unable to bear their children. The government of India should work to make sure that the surrogates are treated properly rather than ban it outright.

You have crushed my husband's and my dreams, India- and you are holding our embryo hostage. We will never get to see our child born because of these sudden changes in the law.

Surrogacy ban should not be applicable for retrospective cases.
Surrogacy process started prior to the ban should be permitted to continue and be completed.
Surrogacy should be permitted for OCI Card holders.

To the Government of India:
We earnestly ask that you continue to help your friendly ally--citizens of Japan.
As you know the country is suffering from the world's lowest birth rate. This is a big social issue, and the nation of Japan is already suffering. We, at Baby for All, hope to aid in Japan's effort to increase its population of Japanese citizens, not (only) foreigners entering the Japanese workforce. Please help Japan and Japanese couples who suffer from infertility.
Thank you, and God bless India!

We had our baby girl with the help of Dr. Nayana and our surrogate Chandrika Ben Patel. Without this option we would never have become parents. And yes we tried IVF several times ourselves and tried adopting for two and a half years before we tried surrogacy. Please don't end this. It is win win for us as parents and for our surrogate who has been taken out of poverty through the money she earned. We are still in touch with her by phone, email and WhatsApp. We know what a difference this has made to her life and to ours. Don't ban this. Just regulate it so that everyone is treated fairly and with respect.

It would be really appreciated by many ordinary people to be able to do surrogacy, without continuos fight. I truly believe there are so many women out there looking to use surrogate in India. One has to keep in mind it is helping women & their family in India & giving someone a chance to be a Mother.

When Indians living overseas become foreigners? When they still regarded as Non-resident Indians, or Overseas citizen of India. They still carry "India" in their status , right? No matter where we live we still are Indians. Don't discriminate.
Banning surrogacy will only lead to more illegal practices and exploitation. Don't ban, make laws suitable and in favor of surrogates. Give surrogates more power and security. I see lot of poor women with onewborn babies in their arms begging. In sun and rain. And the condition of the baby is heartbreaking. Married or not married these women give birth to children and use them for begging. Do something about such issues.
The surrogates are well paid and well taken care of. At least they aregettingchnace to legally earn fortheirfami.y and secure their children further to some extent.
India is a land of giving anod forgiving. Please don't stop giving to either NRIs or other foreigners for that matter. You can only feel the pain if you were a childless couple. Women like JayashreeWade and Sushma Swaraj who are fortunate to have a good life won't understand. They have to come down and listen to childless couples and the surrogates.
