Stop the ban on Surrogacy in India

Please dont ban it. It is a hope for many people.

Foreigners are also an individual who benefits from having a baby when All other options fail. Please don't ban us. We deserve happiness as well.

I would encourage everyone to write to (mail to [email protected] and [email protected]) with their thoughts and comments on banning foreigners undertaking surrogacy. They are asking for comments, so I would encourage everyone to write!

Please leave Indian surrogacy open to all. We had the most amazing gift, our beautiful healthy baby girls .

A subject very dear and near to me.i am lady struggling to get pregnant and start a family due now having health issue surrogacy is the only mean where We can even dream of our perfect family any couple would want. Surrogacy is the way these ladies are helping couple to become parents. Please don't bann surrogacy

With the highest respect for our surrogate and the advanced medical facilities we are forever indebted and grateful to India. when our home country let us down, our only option was India. We would dearly love to return and give our daughter the option of having a sibling that can only be provided by the generosity of a surrogate in India. God may have blessed you with your biological children. Why would you deprive others that may not be as lucky as you from having their biological children? When we heard this news we were personally very upset. We are currently in India with our 8 week old son born through the help from surrogacy after 17 years of trying to conceive. We chose India for the exact reason you mention, to be able to give back and help a family to get out of poverty. Since we have been here we also decided to sponsor a young boy at an English school in Bombay and are working together with the school to help raise money to help many more children who would not normally be able to get this level of education.

Everyone is a winner in surrogacy. It makes people happy and prosper. Is that what the government not like?? Next thing they will think of is to tax everyone on it !!

Dear Health & Family Welfare of India & the Supreme Court of India: I am 37 years old and live in Seattle Washington USA. I run my own business - which is a housecleaning business. In the summer of 2014, my husband and I were researching our options for surrogacy after three failed pregnancies. After reading the book, The Baby Chase, we contacted a surrogacy agency in India and in Jan of 2015, we went to Mumbai where I underwent IVF treatment. Against what my US doctors told me would be possible, at the end of my two weeks of injections, our surrogacy agency in India froze 9 healthy embryos for us. Though my husband and I have been together for 13 years, marriage wasn't an important thing for us. But after researching India's surrogacy rules, & learning that we needed to be married for two years before proceeding with finding a surrogate in India, we got married in July of 2014. Up until three days ago, we were counting down the days until July 25th 2016, when our marriage would reach two years and we could start for having a child. My heart is broken right now after hearing what you are doing to ban surrogacy. I have spent this weekend in tears. India currently has 9 of my embryos. I ask you: what can I do now to save my embryos? Now that you have banned surrogacy, what can I do? I ask that you please let those of us who have already begun steps to have a child in India be allowed to continue. The manner in which you have halted surrogacy is very painful. Please tell me what I can do now and what you have put in place for those of us that have already invested our time, our money, our hearts and our hope into surrogacy in India. I must also say: on many levels, I disagree with this ban. I think that surrogacy in India gives rural woman an opportunity to make money. Banning surrogacy is not a solution to any problem.
