Stop the ban on Surrogacy in India

Without this my good friends would not have their daughter & my daughter would not have a good friend

Please do not ban this is life changing for those who are desperate to have a family.

India should be thinking of the people they have In their country. Trying to better themselves as well as enriching another couple life with a beautiful baby. The Indian government should be ashamed of themselves.

there are no words to express how grateful I am for the lovely lady that carried our child. We tried for 10 years to have a baby without success. It has changed our lives.

Surrogacy should be allowed in India.

Surrogacy is the only option open to my wife and I for ever having children. We have utmost respect for the dignity of the surrogate mothers in India. Please do not ban surrogacy.

To The Prime Minister's Office, India I hope that the government of India can continue to allow surrogacy for foreigners in a regulated industry that allow Indian women the choice to break their cycle of poverty in an ethical, regulated and compassionate way.

Stop the ban of surrogacy for The sake of indian women and The sake of foreign couples that are challenged with not beeing able to carry their own pregnancy.

Please do not ban surrogacy. It gives life to children, families and surrogates alike!

We are blessed with our baby son who was born through surrogacy. Please do not stop this as it has given us a family.

We have a beautiful and cherished daughter who was born through the gift and thoughtfulness of women in India and every day I am thankful that I am now a mother. Banning it will send it underground. Making it even more dangerous. It needs to be regulated tightly in India.

How can you stop someone having family, shame on you India !

Please stop this ban. My daughter has just recently been born as a result of a surrogate in India . This will stop me have any siblings for my daughter and no future to grow my family . I was very lucky enough to have my daughter in our 1 st attempt .

The only way to deal with exploitation is to regulate. A ban will drive surrogacy underground where surrogates will be abused and exploited even more. Heavy regulation can reduce the exploitation. The decision to proceed with surrogacy is not taken lightly. Foreigners do not exploit therefore banning them will serve no purpose. India needs to seek out the exploiters at source and flush them out with regulation. You can't put a price on surrogacy. The lady who carries your child for you changes your life in the most immeasurable way. To give her an amount of money that changes her life similarly, makes the arrangement feel more like 'a woman helping another woman'. Surrogacy exists. Don't ban it and send it underground.
