I think there are so many other prime health issues to address rather putting blanket ban on surrogacy. Please dont ban surrogacy by any means. This ban will prevent millions of couple from enjoying the unique happiness of having a child.

Surrogacy should be allowed the world is changing. Technology is giving freedom to people in all spheres of life it should be continued with. Today a single women parent can achieve anything without the need of a husband. A man should also be allowed to live family life without a wife. In this world of equals the biological disparity between men and women should be dispensed with.

Please dont ban it...dont take away this option from us..its not shauk..a lot of pain and thought goes behind these decisions by those who need the help to have a family and those who give of themselves to help others have a family and to help their own family. They are not taken lightly..

This ban will prevent millions of couple from enjoying the unique happiness of having a child. This ban is totally illogical. The surrogate mothers should be protected better rather than banning surrogacy completely Please change the law and revoke the surrogacy ban immediately

Please remove the ban on surrogacy. Banning surrogacy in India is not the answer, it will simply drive the practice underground. It also deprives the poor women of India who would choose to act as surrogates the chance of a better life for themselves and their families. It empowers them and offers a chance to come out from their poverty situation. The surrogate mothers have choose to act as surrogates of their own will without any one pressure. If govt cannot help those surrogate mothers, let them choose their decent way of helping themselves and bringing joy to a childless couples also. It is an individual right to decide and not the govt if govt cannot take them out from their existing situation.

Please stop this ban. As an NRI I am not able to adopt from India and now to know that surrogacy is not an option too is too harsh for couples like us wanting to have a child. Please take into account the couple who are not allowed to adopt either in India or abroad and cannot have their own child

This should be regulated if required but not banned like this. There are many genuine cases who want just one child. In india still society is not mature enough where close relatives come forward to support, in western countries the mentality is completely different where altruistic surrogacy may solve genuine cases.

donot ban surrogacy. The pain and misery of infertile couples are beyond the GOVT understanding. If surrogate mothers are ready on with consent, what's the role of GOVT in prohibiting?.Its individual right not GOVT right. Surrogacy should NOT BE BANNED

Surrogacy to foreign national in India increases bond between foreign national and motherland, revenue and foreign exchange in India, helps poor surrogates to improve financially, helps childless couples to have lifelong joy of having child. GOI should NOT ban surrogacy to foreign national. However,GOI may introduce regulatory mechanism to avoid rare cases of exploitation to surrogates.

Please lift the ban on surrogacy in india, it is the last hope for women like me, who were born with a medical condition that does not allow us to have babies. I beg of you crying to please consider how difficult it is to do this in other countries, we will treat the surrogate with love and respect, as she would be an angel for us. Thank you so much.

Denying non resident indian couples of surrogacy options in india is unfair and unethical on part of the indian govt because NRIs are indian citizens. They contribute equally if not more to the country's finances.

As someone who has dealt with infertility issues, I 100% support the chance for someone to be a surrogate to give the gift of life to someone who cannot bear children. Good luck!
