Stop the ban on Surrogacy in India

Please legalize the sarrogsy in India , it helps lots of people in the world to have kids , India is the country which we can do the things right & trust the sarrogsy , please please legalize ,

A lot of people need to get surrogates briar they cannot have by themselves. Both of them get benefitted

This Bill should address only the lower end end of surrogacy practice spectrum, where there is a case for preventing malpractice. It should not affect the top end of the spectrum where the ethical standards and practice continue to be very high. Dr. Patel's practice is in certainly in this high category and does not warrant any of the harsh sanctions implied in this Bill. Our daughter has genuine clinical reasons that would cause life-threatening issues were she to attempt a second pregnancy based on her very bad experience with her first pregnancy. Surrogacy is really her only viable option to have a second child. She and her husband have saved very hard and have their tickets and medical visa ready to fly to India this week-end. She has already taken her medicines under guidance from Dr. Patel. They are totally, emotionally involved in the process. Their surrogate is in a similar biological pattern. How can the Indian government be so heartless against the people of their country? The ethical doctors, like Dr. Patel, have worked so hard to make this a legitimate medical procedure in India. The government should let people make up their own minds. Banning surrogacy for everyone is not the answer; it would penalize and devastate those participants and practitioners with highest standards. Such an intolerant ban is a travesty of human rights.

This has been such an unfortunate happening. My daughter and her husband have struggled for years. They finally saved their money, They have their tickets, my daughter has started taken her medicines and they are emotionally involved in the process. Their surrogate is in a similar biological pattern. How can the Indian government be so heartless against the people of their country, The ethical doctors, like Dr. Patel, have worked so hard to make this a legitimate medical procedure in India. The government should let people make up their own minds while providing alternative options for those who would not choose to go this route. It is wrong for the government to say all surrogates would choose not to do this an also provide no alternative options for their people.

We are fortunate to have completed our family with twins via surrogacy and have seen how it benefitted the surrogate's family. No surrogate is forced into doing this and do choose to do this willingly.

I believe. Surrogacy is good and noble.

Please lift the ban on surrogacy in India for foreign couples as it is for a noble cause and have helped a lot of couples.

Please do not ban. This is my only hope for a child.

this ban on surrogacy shouldnt be .because in india people find good atmosphere about surrogacy treatment and good doctors ,hospitals.if anybody have not child then go to india is good option.like us i ve indian nationality i would have to go india .

The ban should not be permanent. Instead, there should be regulation to prevent exploitation as a complete ban is counterproductive and will hurt India's economy.

I strongly support surrogacy in India. Surrogacy is taking places in many North America and its not free. Some calls it daily expense and some calls it gift of love, but there is a cost. India is being honest and showing the benefit of both parties instead of using words like daily expense cost. Politics are plaid in everything even for babies, it is vey sad. What India is doing is the same what other Europe and north America does but cost for intended parents are less. I think its all about keeping or empowering surrogacy only in Europe or \North America. Obviously other countries cant compete against India and its all about that. Personally speaking, we don't have so much money to do this process in North America, so my husband and I worked very heard to save money and have our dream come true after many tries and after spending lots of money via IVF. Our dream has been destroyed, I don't know if I can ever save this much money to try in North America and ever me called mom... its easy for many to say, oh exploring women blah blah or adopt. its not easy for women like myself who wants to have someone of their own. I see my husband looking at tv adds or other dads, if he caches me looking at him, he smiles at me so that I don't feel bad for him. Its been 11 years and we have been leaning towards each others shoulder and had been wanting to become parents...don't know if that will ever happen. Please don't stop this India, you have no Idea how you change couples life by giving the gift of babies...

If done right with good facilities and care for the surrogates everyone wins.
