Stop the ban on Surrogacy in India

Please do not put a ban on the foreign nationals, originally ( born or brought up) in India. Please do nor snatch away our dream of becoming parents.

This ban ruins future families! Regulate, not ban!

Please, do not take away infertile couples' last hope and Indian families' dream of making better life.

This ban will only make things worse for childless couples who have this as last hope. This will also raise other risks like second marriage, divorce for this reason. I think government should tighten rules not ban it. There are some families where nobody gets ready for altruistic surrogacy by banning surrogacy things will only worsen.

Banning surrogacy for foreign couples is an unfair decision. As many OCI and NRI are waiting to have precious gift from India

Surrogacy cannot be stopped as you are killing the hope and emotion of a person to become a parent

My sister and brother in law are traveling to have eggs frozen in hopes this ban is lifted. For now their hopes and dreams will be frozen in time. Please help!

This is a valuable service, both to the intended parents and for the surrogates to be well compensated. Please allow the surrogacy to continue.

I believe that this is a very misguided step by the Indian Government. Instead of recognizing & rewarding people like Dr. Nayana Patel for the stellar work that they've been doing, some misguided, short-sighted and ill-informed individuals have spearheaded this ban. Hopefully they'll come to their senses and realize that they're denying so many potential surrogates a chance to lift themselves and their families out of poverty, not to mention the valuable and life altering service provided to infertile couples in other countries.

If this practice can help the lives of American and Indian women at the same time, it is worth regulating more if need be, but not banning!!

My husband and I have done very thorough research in our aim to assist a family in need in exchange for the assistance to have a child. Our Doctor, Doctor Nayana Patel, treats her surrogates very well, gives them an education and provides them job opportunities beyond just surrogacy at a brand new hospital staffed by former surrogates. I have been learning Hindi out of a desire to connect with and to personally thank the woman on the other side of the world whose life shall be forever connected to mine. There is no exploitation here- just two women wanting to help each other and an amazing Doctor who wants to help this happen.
