In the recent week, Isfahan, one of the metropolises of Iran, has tuned into the territory of extreme fear and horror for women because a group of unknown but apparently well-organized fundamentalists have started tossing acid onto the face of women who do not follow Islamic dress-code. There are unconfirmed reports that the number of the victims so far has risen up to 8 women all in critical condition, from losing an eye to a completely acid-worn faces. This unspeakable terrifying is act, yet, has not met any serious measure taken by the government or the police of Iran and the fear of this serial woman-hating inhuman crime begin spread is imminent.
By signing this petition we can make the public opinion more sensitive to this horrific act and thus force the government to take more preventive and determined action against these terrorist criminals.

THE MOMENTUM BEHIND THIS MOVEMENT IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! PEOPLE ARE FINALLY PAYING ATTENTION TO THESE ATROCITIES AND WE ARE NOT STOPPING UNTIL THE AUTHORITIES TAKE REAL ACTION!! I AM SPEECHLESS AT THE STRENGTH OF THIS COMMUNITY STANDING UP FOR THE WOMEN IN ISFAHAN!!

No one should have to live in fear like this. Needs to stop immediately.
The government needs to stop ignoring this stuff and catch these cowards right now. It is pure evil.
This makes me so angry. Those women deserve justice and protection. Hope the police wake up and do their job instead of standing by while lives are ruined.
